A word about drums and bass

The KEF Q250C, a top-tier Centre Channel Speaker, excels in recreating the subtleties of bass instruments effortlessly. Thanks to its expanded roll surround and innovative suspension, the KEF drivers can generate purer bass even at high volumes. An updated cone structure contributes to improved clarity in the midrange. Furthermore, an upgraded Auxiliary Bass Radiator (ABR) equipped with a new surround and rear suspension significantly elevates the quality of bass. In essence, the Q Series from KEF unveils a new level of audio performance.

"Sit anywhere" Uni-Q sound

The heart of the revamped Q Series is pulsating with the Uni-Q driver array, a signature innovation by KEF. This ingenious design situates the tweeter at the acoustic epicenter of the midrange cone, inching ever closer to achieving the acoustic ideal of a single point source. The outcome is an increase in detail and accuracy that’s simply breathtaking.

Tweaking the tweeter

With the addition of the damped tweeter loading tube providing a gentle termination of sound produced from the back of the tweeter, lower treble performance is improved dramatically and a new low-distortion inductor on the crossover provides cleaner bass.
